All ingredients listed in her cookbooks have
been approved by CSA/USA (Celiac Sprue
Association), GIG (Gluten Intolerance Group),
and NIDDK (National Center for Diabetes,
Digestive and Kidney Diseases).
She has spoken to Celiac Disease Support
Groups throughout the country.
Gastroenterologists and dieticians
throughout the country hand out fliers about
Connie's cookbooks to their patients who have
been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Some of

Connie was the St. John's University
Listserv representative for Northeast Ohio for
four years.
In November, 2001, Connie was a speaker at
the 14th Annual Celiac Disease Convention in
Columbus, Ohio She was a featured panel speaker
at the October, 2002 CSA/USA National
Convention in Omaha, Nebraska and will be a
speaker at the 2003 GIG Convention in Denver,
Colorado.
Danna Korn, author of Kids with Celiac
Disease and founder of the nationwide
support group R.O.C.K. (Raising our Celiac
Kids), has just published a new book,
Wheat-free, Worry-free ; Connie
wrote the recipes that went into that book.
Shona Bloom's new Handbook for Newly
Diagnosed Celiacs features recipes from
Connie's cookbooks.
Connie is a writer for the new
Scott-Free Newsletter, and she
has a regular column in the Clan Thompson
Newsletter entitled "Cook's Corner"
where, besides featuring her recipes, there is
an "Ask The Cook" section where readers write
in their culinary concerns for Connie to
answer.
She has written articles for newspapers and
magazines about gluten-free cooking and/or how
to get additional media coverage for celiacs,
and will be the featured guest on four radio
programs this year. Some of her printed
articles appeared in The Englewood
Independent, Star Beacon, Gluten-Free Living
Magazine. In March, 2002, the
Cleveland Plain Dealer
interviewed her extensively for an article on
Celiac Disease.
Her WFGF Cookbooks have been written up in
more than a hundred Celiac newsletters. Her
recipes were featured in the summer, 2002 issue
of Living Without.
In 2001, one of Connie's recipes was
selected for publication in Cooking Light
Magazine.

the country carry her WFGF Cookbooks.
Connie is in the process of writing a fourth
gluten-free cookbook for celiacs who are also
diabetic, autistic, vegetarians, vegan, or are
allergic to corn, soy, nuts, lactose, casein,
rice, eggs, yeast, and more.
